Engineers Without Borders Australia Limited (EWB) will be holding its 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Board Elections:
Date: Monday 25th November 2019
Time: 2.00pm AEDT (1.00pm AEST)
Venue: Engineers Without Borders Australia, Level 2, 90 Maribyrnong Street, Footscray, Victoria 3011.
Members located outside of Melbourne and who are unable to attend in person will also be able to participate via authorised live video links with further details to be provided closer to the date.
BOARD ELECTIONS – NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN
This meeting is called in accordance with the EWB Constitution, to elect up to two (2) nominated Members to our Board of Directors. To nominate for the Board, please complete the online nomination form process. Nominations close Friday 8th November 2019. Nominees and seconders must be paid members of EWB Australia as at the time of nomination. Seconders must confirm the nomination by Sunday 10th November 2019. If you have any trouble accessing or completing the application form, please contact the Company Secretary.
Voting for a nominee
Details of all Board vacancies, the candidates nominated for election, and a link to an online voting form will be published online and circulated to all EWB Members on Monday 11th November 2019; at least ten clear days before the General Meeting. To be eligible to vote, you must be a current voting member of EWB. If you would like to check your membership status, please access your member dashboard on the EWB website.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
During the AGM, there will be an opportunity to ask questions of the EWB Board. Please attend to meet the EWB Board and help fulfil EWB’s formal Annual General Meeting requirements under our Constitution and Australian law. This part of the meeting will consider the following resolutions:
To adopt the annual financial report, Directors’ report and the Auditors’ Report. Copies will be available for review at the meeting. For a copy of these documents prior to the AGM please contact companysecretary@ewb.org.au
To resign Lowe Lippmann as auditor for the FY19/20 financial year
To appoint Banks Group Assurance Pty Ltd as new auditor

If you are unable to attend the AGM in person and you would like to cast a vote, please complete and return the proxy form and return it via email to companysecretary@ewb.org.au or post it to EWB at Level 2, 90 Maribyrnong St, Footscray, Vic, 3011 so that it is received before 12:45pm on Saturday 23rd November 2019.
