Constitution
Engineers Without Borders Australia's governance structure is regulated by a Constitution and a set of core policies enacted by the Board of Directors. As a company, EWB must comply with the Corporations Act 2001. Meet the BoardThe Constitution is enacted and changed by the membership of EWB, while policies are managed and altered as needed by the Board of Directors.
EWB’s business is managed by the Board of Directors, who monitor and safeguard the company so that it continues to achieve its mission, aims and objectives. The Board is responsible for the organisation’s overarching strategic direction and for ensuring that appropriate governance, risk management and compliance systems are in place.
The Board has also developed a Charter to assist in explaining its role and relationship with EWB stakeholders including the CEO and Executive, National Council and Chapters, members, partners and the engineering and development communities.
