EWB established a partnership with FREO2 in June this year, aiming to further develop and scale technology for children and newborns who catch pneumonia or suffer acute breathing troubles – a key cause of death in developing countries.
Over the past six months, EWB’s tech team has been working out of Space Tank Studio in North Melbourne on this critical project. Joining the team is Kate – a product design engineering student at Swinburne University – who is interning on the project and learning from engineers Andy and Abigail, as well as the FreO2 engineering team.
