Our members and volunteers are at the heart of everything EWB Australia does!

This National Volunteer Week (May – ) EWB Australia joins thousands of organisations around the nation to celebrate and recognise the contribution and dedication of their volunteers.  We would like to say a huge thank you to our current volunteers and those that have played an integral role in EWB Australia’s successes over the last years.

All around Australia and overseas our diverse group of volunteers including engineers, students, academics and technical and non-technical  professionals  take time away from their commitments to come together to work towards creating positive social change through humanitarian engineering and design.

In , EWB Australia’s community is made up of over , members, , supporters and even more participants who have been engaged in our programs, many of which have given time to volunteer.   They perform a huge range of tasks such as hosting events, fundraising, facilitating training sessions, applying technical skills, building capacity of others, establishing and fostering local and corporate partnerships, advocating, influencing and educating.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything that EWB does, so again we say a huge thank you from everyone here at EWB Australia!

In the lead up to National Volunteer week, we held a short campaign for a ‘Shout Out of Thanks’ as just one way in which we can acknowledge the work of individuals and say thank you for everything they do.   The Shout Out’s we&#;ve received highlight the diversity of our volunteers and celebrates their passion, knowledge and commitment to EWB!  See the &#;Shout Out&#; Honour Roll!
