Matt is a Director of O’Brien Traffic and has over 25 years experience in traffic engineering and transport planning acquired in both the public and private sectors.
He is an accredited Senior Road Safety Auditor in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland and has published papers on a range of transport issues and presented at a wide range of conferences – both in Australia and internationally.
Matt’s governance experience also includes current positions of Vice-Chair for the Institute of Transportation Engineers – Australia and New Zealand (ITE-ANZ), Vice-Chair of a multi-campus Kindergarten – Year 12 school, and Chair of Veta Youth. These roles have given Matt a broad understanding of governance, risk management, culture leadership and community engagement.
Matt’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Honours, Bachelor of Science (Earth Science) and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
